Renaud-Philippe Garner is an Assistant Professor of philosophy at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. His research is at the intersection of political and moral philosophy and draws on findings from other fields to produce empirically-informed arguments. He teaches one introductory course on critical thinking, epistemology and the philosophy of science as well as one on political philosophy. He also teaches upper-year courses on the ethics of war and virtue ethics.
Professor Garner regularly writes public outreach pieces in Marianne and other French publications. He also provides commentary to CBC/Radio-Canada.
